Bernardaud Limoges "Louvre" soup tureen with lid. Absolutely phenomenal example of porcelain craftsmanship. "The motifs engraved on the pieces that make up this white service create a stylish catalogue detailing the various periods of French architecture from the Renaissance through to the Second Empire which characterize this palace". Condition is great with no chips, cracks or scratches whatsoever. Some minor interior wear possible--consistent with very little use. It measures approximately 12.5"W (including handles), 10.25"D, 4.5"H to the rim and 7"H to the top of the lid. This tureen is ultra rare and retails for $515.
